2014 Youth Retreat
The 2014 Fredericksburg District Youth Retreat is a memory…a really good one! There are a lot of people to thank…Youth leaders and churches who sent your youth in the midst of snowy roads and cancelled school days, Churches who paid District apportionments and funded the budget that makes a top notch retreat a possibility, the FDYC…youth and adults, without whose efforts the retreat simply could not have taken place. You decorated, came up with themes and ideas, hung signs and spread the word. You’re a great group of folks and the District is blessed to have you. VT Wesley students for a great time of worship, groups and music. You did an awesome job! Eagle Eyrie for hosting our gathering, offering some great food and really outstanding support and service, Voigt Enterprises…Tony & JT, you are magnificent! Making sound and lights professional and with such ease….And most of all to the young people who came, opened their hearts and minds to the powerful presence and transformation of the Holy Spirit! For sharing in your beautiful honesty what it is to be human, together and reconciled to God.
